However, this amount will increase with each year of experience that you obtain. By the time that you have five years of experience, the graphic design salary will increase to $33,000 per year. With ten years of experience, the amount of the graphic design income will increase to $44,000 a year. The yearly salary for a designer with fifteen years of experience is $59,000. The top salary of $77,000 a year will be available once you have twenty or more years of experience.
Graphic Design Education:
If you have decided that graphic design is the career path that you want to take, you will need to get the training that is involved in this career. Many graphic designers also work from their own homes independently or as a contractor. Many graphic designers also work by telecommuting. Many will work in a team setting with other types of designers and computer professionals such as programmers, website designers and more. Taking part in meetings and talking with clients and co-workers will be a large part of the job. The work schedule for graphic designers will vary depending on how many clients you have, the deadlines you are working against and your current workload. The majority of all graphic designers will work a full time schedule and will also work overtime hours as needed.
